Salzburg Recap

I've returned to DC from an extremely successful trip to Salzburg, Austria. My company was covering the Mozart Woche and it was by far the best live broadcast I've ever been a part of. My job for the past week was to travel the city of Salzburg and create audio postcards from the different locations. Here's a list of what we got to visit:

1. Festung Hohensalzburg
2. Mozart Geburtshaus
3. Salzburg Marionette Theater (see photo)
4. Mozartplatz
5. Dom Zu Salzburg
6. Mozarteum
7. Mozart Kugel

Austria Update

The crew and I arrived in Salzburg a few hours ago...but my luggage didn´t. The airline has narrowed it down to either Croatia or northern Italy. This means I´ll be brushing my teeth with my finger for a few days. Small potatos when you consider we´re at yet another historical musical event, The Mozart 250. I´m posting from the lobby of our hotel in Downtown Salzburg on a German keyboard (VERY confusing layout)...going to have a quick beer then hit the sack. Once I get my Mac hooked up I´ll have pics galore to post. This is definitely one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Oh yeah...my high school German skills are coming back!

Just landed in Vienna...going to catch the shuttle to Salzburg in 10-minutes. Will post pics, notes, etc ASAP.
